"Good to go congrats on the purple"
"I verify Scott's purple belt rank based on external evidence from competition databases, academy websites, and social media. Samuel Kaye, a black belt since May 2019 under Ben Poppleton and promoted to second degree in May 2025 by Lloyd Cooper, had the authority to promote as head instructor at Lakes BJJ. Scott's time as a blue belt from August 2021 exceeds the IBJJF two-year minimums, with over four years elapsed before his December 2025 promotion, supported by his training history and competition records on Smoothcomp and IBJJF events."
"Lots of high quality photo evidence. Legit!"
"Promoted by well respected BB, legit"
"I don't know Scott, but there seems to be enough evidence to verify rank. :)"
