An overwhelming amount of evidence show you didn't get black belt until 2007 and competed as a purple belt as late as 2005. See https://www.beltchecker.c[...]p;id=63963
Respect, your 6th degree belongs to the pioneer BJJ in Europe. many will thank you! I am very grateful for our collaboration! Also our great success with Spar Wars! OSS, and big deep bow. NIE-RE !
Purple belt competitor in 2005, confirmed by you in the linked thread (in dutch), which matches that you got your BB from Draculinho in 2007 https://www.mixfight.nl/f[...])!-results

...but did you ever see him with a BJJ black belt before he got it from Draculino in 2007? Remco competed in the US as a BJJ purple belt as late as 2005. See https://www.beltchecker.com/forum.php?p=read&type=1&id=63963

"He had a match with my teammate Ricardo Liborio back in the day. A true martial artist! I would love to meet him one day. "
Hi John, Thank you, and it would be great to meet!

False 6:th degree though (should be 4:th). Fernando Yamasaki denies promoting him to BB in 1996 and Remco competed as a BJJ purple belt in Bud Cup in the US as late as 2005. Carlinho's student Draculino (not Carlinho) promoted Remco to BB in 2007=4:th degree BB now. https://www.beltchecker.com/forum.php?p=read&type=1&id=63963&u=6526dc0893784

"Although I've know who Remco is for decades, I must take the words of other black belts I really trust. I will change my vote when things are straightened out on your profile."
"Seems like the promotion history is not true. Yamasaki never promoted you (according to himself) and your black belt date is approximately 10 years off, resulting in an incorrect number of black belt degrees claimed."
"UFC 2 🔥"
"European BJJ pioneer, awesome to have a legend like you here on the site "
"I stand by my vote for Remco's Black Belt. His date of promotion is in question which will affect his degrees but I have no doubt that he is a Black Belt. He ran a Gracie Barra Academy for years until they parted ways. I doubt that Gracie Barra would allow an illegitimate Black Belt represent them. "
A wise man once said: "If your instructor lied about his promotions then you should find another academy to train at. It is about integrity. I could not trust an instructor that does that. [...] No one that has earned their belts the right way have any explanations to give. Only frauds need them to explain away their deceit. I myself, like many others, will never be a world champion but every promotion we have ever received was earned the right way and can be confirmed by our promoting instructors." (https://www.beltchecker.com/forum.php?p=read&id=25285&type=1&page=4). Changing the promotion history to the truth is however only a few clicks away for Remco.

Oh brother Jonah. Remco has done more for BJJ than you and I ever have. Let it play out and go train.

And Georges Meulenyser haven't done more for Belgian BJJ than you? ;-) History is full of people who had done more for (or to?) society than those pointing out their lies. It would be a sad world if everyone only went after lies of those less senior than themselves, don't you think?

You always have to get that last word in, don't you? lol

""Adversity causes some men to break; others to break records" I have never met anyone outside of Remco who was able to get my 100% even when i did not want to. Thanks for being a part of who I am today."
Thank you!! And thank you what you are doing for the community..

Being Dutch yourself, have you ever seen Remco wear a BJJ black belt before he was actually promoted to it, by Draculino in 2007? There are severak old forum posts in Dutch by Remco where he himself writes he wasn't the first in Holland to get BB (the first ones got it in early 2007). The adversity of having old students promoted to BB before yourself unfortunately causes some men to try to cheat their way to records. Really petty with someone so legit without having to be untruthful. https://www.beltchecker.com/forum.php?p=read&type=1&id=63963&u=6526dc0893784

""Remco was awarded his black belt in 2007 by Vinicius Magalhães (Draculino), [ 13] which today would make him a 5th degree black belt""
"Entirely false claims in promotion history, hopefuly by mistake. An overwhelming amount of evidence show BB in 2007, not in 1996. Evidence includes yourself explicitly saying you weren't a black belt in 1996 and you also competed as a purple belt in 2005! See https://www.beltchecker.com/forum.php?p=read&type=1&id=63963&u=650c6c5cc1ada"
Oh brother Jonah. Remco has done more for BJJ than you and I ever have. Let it play out and go train. You've made your statements and no one has to follow suit because you say so.
