Stuart, what made you decide to go for your PhD in engineering? I'm working on the GRE right now to go for my master's in astronautical engineering, but I might eventually wind up on the PhD track down the line.

Since I used GI Bill to complete a master’s degree, I was thinking about getting a JD since I have yet to incur any debt. Now that I’m done with school I’m enjoying my newly found free time. Maybe I’ll take a break from school for a year then decide if I want to have no life again.

What's been the most interesting revelation from your formal studies that has innfluenced how you learn/teach jiu-jitsu?

I'm a dentist with specialization in Endodontics, working in 3 clinics as a freelance.
