My vanity makes me want to watch that purely to see if I pop up anywhere. :P

But seriously, cool project! I won't be there for the premiere either way, but hopefully that still happens. It would be a great way to both finish off Heidelcamp and celebrate getting that doc finished (2 years of work is no joke).

Chris P, or am I missing a reference? ;)
Haha, just referencing to typical movie trailers, where there always is a hint of the adversity/villain force of the story. Interested to see what kind of calamities we will see in this feature!

And I think this was filmed before the major IBJJF/Timmy incident.

Ah, right! Hmm, not sure who the villain would be in this context. Injuries? Alcohol? Though I guess the latter is something of a close friend to a lot of BJJ Globetrotters, maybe not. ;)

I'm kinda assuming the film is going to feature the Bar Team heavily, but I could be wrong. Also impacts the likelihood of Can Cameo: lots of class footage in Winter Camp, Heidelberg or Leuven, good chance of Can. Lots of drinking/party/skiing footage, incredibly low chance of Can. :P

High chance of Tatu too (too Tatu, too-wit Tatu, like an owl)? Can't remember if you were one of the bar crawling type people or not. :D

This documentary took me through highs of "I really want to go to a camp now" and lows of "these people party and I would not be able to keep up".

The party people are not the same people doing the morning yoga in the clips. :D All kinds of folk at camps!

Some people go just for training, some people go just for social stuff and some people go for any combination in between. Choose your own adventure :)

Yes, very inspiring! Made me want to quit my job, sell all my stuff, and just travel and train, but then I thought about my wife and kids. I guess the best I can hope for is to be able to attend a camp or 2 sometime in the not so distant future.

I have literal mixed feelings when watching the movie because the saddest part is spliced with me getting my BB. Which was also an emotional rollercoaster in many ways (wrote about that in social media).

I haven't watched it properly yet, but I did fast forward through the YouTube vid to see where I pop up. Fairly easy to spot, another advantage of wearing very silly gis. ;)

You can just hang out with me and the other non-drinky people, I don't party either. Well, I am dancing at Winter Camp in the doc, but that was due to forcing myself to go out as an experiment. I definitely don't need to go to Tenne again ;)

The camps look great and I've been wanting to get to one for a long time. Maybe once the world finds a 'new normal' I'll finally be able to!
