Hi Beltchecker community,
I was just thinking that it is always great to share and learn from the community so if it is ok with the admins, why not share our Instagram handles on here so more people can connect, follow and learn from each other that way too?
I know I am always keen to see what like minded individuals are up to! So I guess I will start. My Instagram handle is TheBJJCoach . Or here to make it easier: https://www.instagram.com[...]ebjjcoach/

I've got four.
@ArtemisBJJ for official club stuff, that's all BJJ technique vids from my classes. Mostly 1 min clips, but some longer ones (e.g., some more recent grilled chicken, from the Zoom classes I've been doing, along with Zoom private lesson footage) [ https://www.instagram.com[...]rtemisbjj/ ]
@GrappleThon for putting up vids/pics of the annual charity events I've been running since 2012, as well as reposting stuff from other people doing similar events
@ArtemisBJJ_Kids for the kids team, though I mainly leave this up to the kids class instructor, she does a good job of it [ https://www.instagram.com[...]sbjj_kids/ ]
@slideyfoot is my personal account, so that's just random stuff depending when I feel like adding content. Ranges from BJJ to art galleries to food to squeaky guinea pigs and politics. :D [ https://www.instagram.com[...]lideyfoot/ ]

Yep, I'm slideyfoot pretty much everywhere. First post on Bullshido was back in 2004 IIRC, although the profile got messed up a few years back so the join dates went weird. ;)

That's around the time I started there as Baator-Steel ( Joined: 10/18/2004 ) I was taking Japanese Jiu Jitsu and just getting into some BJJ. Small world.

It's been entertaining how many people I've met at camps who say "Oh, hi Slidey, I used to see you post on Bullshido/Cyberkwoon/read your blog" etc at camps. I love how BJJ is still a small world, especially if you've been around it for 10+ years. :D

Ooo, and speaking of DnD: do you play online? I run a group of about 70 people I've met through BJJ, we play three or four games a week. Always looking to add more people, especially if they are willing to DM. ;)

I had never tried the online stuff. I had a group of my Upward Bound kids try and get me into Roll 20? but I never could figure it out.

Yes I used to blog a lot and was on UG BJJ Forums for quite a while, but have been so busy with other projects lately! I post regularly on IG now but really need to get back online. How is everything with you mate?

Pretty good, thanks! The same worry as most BJJ instructors, given covid and the financial implications, but still ok at the moment. Especially as I've been able to continue a lot of the stuff I love, like DnD, which isn't affected at all by covid. Hopefully we'll all back on the mats soon: sounds like Australia is doing well on that front, although my friends in Melbourne are naturally a bit miffed at the moment. ;)
