Our gym has a very lighthearted presence in social media that helps tell folks who we are. Sure we are dangerous and represent when we show up at tournies, but we don't have to be serious about it all the time.

This has made me wonder who else out there has cool or fun videos (that are not super serious) to help spread the gospel of BJJ while promoting their gym ?

Link your videos to this thread so we can all see you handiwork!

To get things started, here are the videos we made to support a program at our local Alamo Movie Theater called Psycho Cinema.

Think of this as our annual Simpson's Halloween Episode. We did it this year in spite of the hardship because now at least everything about 2020 doesn't suck.

Enjoy!

I am glad you liked the videos!

Trade secret for the 2020 video, but we are obviously super happy we got it worked out =)

As for the 2019 video - this was the work of our Director of Social Media and BJJ Blue Belt Rochelle Potter with some acting assistance from her Husband Will Potter (aka: Hockey Mask Guy). Both her kids (who both train) and our head coach Joe Bauserman were also featured in the video. (All of the adults I just mentioned have profiles on this site under our gym).

That said, pretty much every bit of video, our cartoon shark logos, merch available through our website, etc is Rochelle's original art work and we are super lucky to have such a talented woman behind our online presence.

PS: Ashes of Everest provided music for both videos and are an amazing local band. It's a community team effort at Shark Pit!

If you like Rochelle's work then you should definitely follow us on Instagram or our FaceBook page. She posts a new meme to both pretty much every day. Both links are available on our web page if you are interested.

Super cool. Really dug the music as well. BJJ needs more heavy metal!

This isn't nearly as fun as yours, but our schools most popular video. Apparently they like seeing me breakfall on the street :D

Yours is super cool too! I lived in Anchorage, Alaska for 10 years and I can't tell you how many times I was saved by knowing how to fall. Thanks for posting the video!

Wow, these vids are great!
We don’t have such Great Videos, but recently I did a small video with „I movie“ about our training group… just some small clips and pics of us before the pandemic. I miss training with my guys:
