StackPath 'Access Denied' error messages when I try to post on the forums

Quite frequently over the last week when I've tried to post, I get a StackPath (ha, I kept typing Stack Pass instead, Freudian slip :P ) error message. Tends to take several hours or even days to stop doing that. Attached a screenshot of the most recent one, when I was trying to reply to that Cobra Kai thread in the offtopic forum (it's happened in various other forums at various other times of day too, over the last week)

Experimenting, it could also be down to the length of the post. I was able to make a few shorter replies to other threads, but the Cobra Kai was quite long, so that might be a factor? Seems to normally happen when I get verbose (which is often, I like to babble ;) ).
E.g., I just posted this, and at the same time tried once again to post in the Cobra Kai thread with the same (long) reply. This reply here worked, as did several others I posted in the UK forum, but the Cobra Kai one is still getting that same error message. I'll try it again in an hour, then update on here. :D

StackPath is probably concerned that you are uploading some nefarious code to usurp and dominate pole position on Beltchecker :)

Ha - I wouldn't put it past me, but yeah, the only table I have a chance of getting a high position is number of forum posts, and that's difficult to game. :P
I guess I could reload my profile page a few thousand times, but that would take some serious dedication to get to the top spot at this point. ;)
And yeah, on topic, just tried reposting the same thing in the Cobra Kai thread, still getting the same error message an hour later. I'll test it in another couple of hours, then I'll probably just leave it a day and see if that does it.

Can you email me the text you're trying to post that it blocks? Then I can see if I can figure out what causes it. Also please copy that reference ID for me. [email protected]
Does it by any chance contain any emojis? :)

Sure thing. No emojis, that has messed me up before. If I copy and paste emojis in, Beltchecker cuts off the rest of the text after the emoji, so I've stuck to keyboard shortcuts instead. Though in the case of the text I'm trying to post, no emojis, either copy and pasted or keyboard shortcut. Though in this post, I will finish with a :) ;)

Interesting. When I saw you posted on this thread saying the same thing had happened to you, I did then wonder if it was because we both post a LOT on the forums. ;)
But yeah, if it's on training log entries that you're hitting the error message rather than forum posts, I guess not.

Well, the only thing StackPath asked several times last week - never had it before, never had it since - is : "Are you human?"
... no idea if this has something to do with this site been a BJJ site.

Yeah Stackpath seems pretty random in terms of when/how it decides to security check you. I haven't changed any of it's settings, anyway. Apologize for the inconvenience, but we have decided to keep it turned on since we had some attempts at hacking our site some months ago.
Can >> I managed to post that text just fine, can't replicate your error. But anyway, I added your IP address to the whitelist so you should be able to post now (from that IP at least)

Cool, thanks! I'll try that when I get home. I'm in a hotel at the mo, got the same error when I tried the same thing in the same thread just now. BUT if my home IP is whitelisted, should be good to go once I'm back home. :D

Why must we have to verify the stackpath thing in the middle of posting a reply or a post? Then you have to do it all again because it just gets deleted or erased for no friggin reason. Happens way too often. Very annoying especially if you've spent a few minutes typing out a message.

Unfortunately out of our hands how it works. Down the road this will improve as we work towards beltchecker 2.0 rebuilt from bottom up :) but for now we have to live with it as a price to pay for high security

Yeah: I'd rather have the annoyance of being asked to put in a code in a lot, compared to the site getting fucked and my data being hacked.

Ok I can always draft my posts on word or something and then cut and paste until it gets better.
