The idea is pretty simple; to build a win/win platform for BJJ instructors to share knowledge on how to be better at teaching and running academies. Instructors contributing with video material will have free membership + get a share of the revenue based on their unique video views per month. Less experienced, non-contributing instructors can sign up for a fixed/subscription fee to access the content. Even if nobody ever pay to sign up, it would still become a platform for instructors to connect and help each other improve. This is NOT a technique instructional platform.

First step is that I've registered a domain name and created a FB group to see if there are even some serious BJJ instructors out there who would want to help create content for this. Here, I have written a more detailed pitch of the idea and concept for people to read and debate.

Feel free to request to join the group but I'll decline if you don't fill out the questions. I'd like the group to only be for actual instructors with serious interest and this is a good little first test to see if people are lazy or not :) If you can't find time to read the entirety of this post and answer three questions, you probably can't find time to create content either and we're both wasting our time ;)

Instructors for adults, or do you want instructors for kid's programs as well?

I ask as I used to be a school teacher and have been running our kid's program the last 5-6 years etc, and am always interested in learning and being better and helping other folks.

Sounds like a cool idea: I know I've found networking with other instructors at camps really useful (like that chat Yogi Jack set up at Winter Camp last year, where a few of us were talking about running a school, teaching stuff etc), it's been one of the big benefits for me. So I'll be interested to hear how that new group develops.

Hmmmm .... only got to answer one question. The next question (about video experience) did not have a reply box, just a Submit button. ?

This is actually starting to take shape; really nice and I'm very excited for the project :)
Nice, I look forward to seeing the results! I would apply, but I don't think I match the criteria. Plus I'm happy to wait and see if it's something I'd want to pay for anyway, once you've got a decent bit of content on there. I'm always keen to improve my teaching. If I'm keen enough to pay, we'll see, but maybe. :D
