Common I would say toes, fingers and popped ribs
I was talking to a training partner about this today. And we thought maybe the top three were neck, knee, and ankle. For the major injuries that keep people of mat.

Rib injuries are super annoying, and very common. I hate them, and can stand having almost any other injury but them. My most common injury is probably a bruised ego and/or jammed fingers.

Short term, fingers and toes.

Long term accumulated damage, my hips and lower back. I've known too many guys who've been doing it over 20 years who have some kind of back pain.

Broken toes. Done it 7 different times.

Long term injuries would be herniated disks in lower back and neck, torn meniscus in knee, and what everything that could be bad in a shoulder.

Most common: toes & fingers. Don't keep me off the mat though, just tape 'em! (And in some cases, don't use the foot that has a broken big toe...)

Also lower back, but it's another one to ignore and keep on training. :D

Actually responsible for time off the mat: ribs & knees.
