Google maps for me then if that gym has a website/social media page I check them out to make an enquiry

Does Instagram let you search by location?
I use Google Maps too

It’s more to catch the eye of people across their feed.

I'll use Google Maps to find gyms then check them out on Facebook.

i have a large network, so generally where ever im going i may know someone that's been there or trains in that area or state to request a place to drop in. usually i just hit up Robson directly and ask. I actually did this when I visited Japan and of course he had a place for me to go and it was a blast!!

I use Instagram for the business and that's about it. And I'm not very good about using it even then and would certainly not use it for looking up a gym I want to visit. The website (or lack thereof) of a BJJ school can tell me a lot about what type of gym it is.

To an extent, but yeah, only in that if I go visit a school, it is always because I specifically want to train with friends. Some of those friends I meet through Instagram. :D

I use Instagram a looooot. I run eight different accounts, all for different things. ;)
