Finally released first version of an injury section that I've been wanting to build for a long time. You can now keep track of all your injuries and how they've developed over time. You injuries will be displayed on your profile, unless you choose to not make them public (edit profile -> settings).
Personally, I always have a really hard time remembering what injuries I had when and how long they lasted. This will provide an easy overview of your entire history of injuries.
I think this could provide us with some very interesting statistics down the road, once we start to have some serious data on injuries. I also hope to implement graphs so you can get a visual overview of your injuries over the years. Lots of good ideas to build onto this :)
I hope you will use and enjoy it!

I've already run into my first issue trying to log one of my earliest injuries... I don't see an option for "leg" anywhere... maybe I'm missing it? I broke my right Tibia (shin) and it looks like my only options would be "right foot/toes", "right knee", "right ankle", or "right hip". Maybe we could get a "leg other than leg joints" option, or something like that?

Yeah I guess we could add the next 50 body parts that we could think of, but I tried to keep it as general as possible (while still doing around 25 :D). For now, I would say just use "Other" category

Logged a few on there. Pretty cool
I obviously don't know what I'm doing.

Working in rehab for injured athletes. It will be interesting to see what the most common injury and area of injury is!

Oh wow! Def need to hide mine from the opponents though. :D
Btw here's a nice little tattoo I saw today by a fellow practitioner (she is also on this site) done on a knee of a martial artist... I would need one too, prolly two.

As would I. At least the knee is better after the surgery and rehab lol

Already logged in the ones I can remember and still feel . The business side of me is always thinking there’s a sponsorship deal here waiting to be struck with some chirp, physio or orthopaedic practice somewhere

Too bad there’s not an option to add photos.

I thought about it, but on the other hand, kind of weird to add a photo of a knee or elbow, can't really see the injury in almost all cases :D

That’s fair. I have some gnarly post-op photos though.

Passed 200 injuries registered, let's keep them coming so we can make some cool statistics out of this! :)

We can start out with something simple :) https://www.beltchecker.c[...]p=injuries
I guess we should/could combine left and right side injuries but on the other hand, this is also kind of interesting to see this detailed.

A "cause of injury" dropdown could be interesting too, correlating techniques to injury. Of course, there'll be an "other" option, but something with "heel hook, foot lock, armbar, guillotine etc"
Also, left and right info is also interesting, could show which side is biased towards being attacked for example.

Still only a few hundred injuries registered but it will be very interesting to see if this big difference between left and right knee injuries hold up. Could be something to it.
