Hey guys this is mainly for the coaches but if you guys use anything like this for your gym please share.
Obviously communication is key to keeping students and it’s significantly more difficult when it’s the jrs or kids class. So I was wondering if there was an app that you could manage your students (parents) I’d love it if there was something on this app to do that (if there is please let me know)
But I’m looking for stuff like adding or removing students practice schedules changes important dates etc. kind of like game changer for basketball.
TIA

I just use WhatsApp (lots of groups, linked together as a 'community', a handy feature that WhatsApp added a while ago) and stick up a lot of polls.

One of the black belts from my area developed an app with jiu jitsu team management in mind. Our club is quite small and our instructor is only teaching a few times per week as a hobby so we don't use it but I know a few gyms in the UK which do use it and they seem to be happy with it.

I use this one: http://www.trainin.nl
not sure if its available in foreign countries though. Good service, takes care of the payments and the scheduling. Has some nice extra features like QR codes, video library, coaching modules. And for a good prize too.

As an IPhone or iPad app, I use "GroupMan BJJ". Try it, it's a pretty handy app that has everything.

is this a free app or does it have in-app purchases to unlock the full features like reports, etc.?

I checked the app. It is great. I think it needs an update. The chart for student is only up to 2022.

We use an app called BAND and it is absolutely PERFECT, and it's free. Some quality videos on youtube by other sports coaches on how they use it for reference.

We use spond. It takes care of payments, training times and messages.
