Happy New Year to all! As we step into 2025, I want to extend my heartfelt wishes for success, growth, and resilience in your Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journeys and beyond.
This is a time to reflect on the progress you’ve made, the challenges you’ve overcome, and the lessons you’ve learned. Whether you’re just beginning or years into your path, remember that every step forward—on or off the mats—is a victory.
Stay committed, stay humble, and keep striving to be better than you were yesterday. Let this year be one of relentless dedication, meaningful connections, and personal triumphs. Here’s to a year of hard work, perseverance, and embracing the journey. Let’s make 2025 extraordinary together!

New year, new shoulder! Labrum repair first thing tomorrow morning. Hoping to spend at least a little bit of 2025 on the mats.
Update: two anchors are in and doc says everything came back together nicely. Past the biggest single hurdle, but the road from here is still plenty long. Still looking at a full recovery by late spring or early summer.

Glad you're recovering ok. Fwiw, i was back doing some limited sparring within 3 months of a labral repair (and like 7 other things they "fixed" at the same time).
Good luck on your recovery!
