Finally got this fully up and running. Verified profiles can now order your card for $25 including world wide shipping. Cards are produced and shipped from the US same or next day.

https://beltchecker.com/idcard.php

I won't do donations or similar, so this is my idea on how to cover server, development etc. costs of the site :) You can choose yourself if you want belt stripes included or not. Thanks for the support!

Ordered but maybe not? After I confirmed payment I got a white page so I'm not sure if that's a bug or something went wrong.

How much for a NFC chip to be added?
I still think a first mobile app version should be this card digitalised. :)
Why asking for NFC chip - these are nowadays useful, a "simple" card with just info, I can add a bus card on it or open a door with it etc and keep it in unshielded parts of my wallet as opposed to my credit cards for example.

No order registered. Probably a problem with your payment no going through, I gotta work on catching the error messages better :)

Does it just pull through your profile picture for the card?
My picture is a little too wide to make a good identity photo but worried if I re-upload it to tighten it up on my face I'll have to go through verification all over again

I think Christian said (in another discussion) that the profile pics can be cropped for the card to better feature the face, without the need to upload them again for the profile. Because you're right, uploading needs photo re-verifying - but that shouldn't really be an issue: you just lose ID verification temporarily until an admin has approved your new photo. (You don't lose your votes etc.)

What Tatu said; if you change your profile picture you don't lose any votes, you just need to wait a moment for moderators to verify your new photo, it's automatic and quick.

Christian,

Have you thought about offering business cards as well? These ID cards are the shit, but business cards are cool too because you can give them away. Just a thought.

Meh I don’t think that would work. Why would anyone want a beltchecker business card unless they worked for the website (and then still probably wouldn’t need it) :)

Should add a poll to see what people might be interested in purchasing with one of those options being should there be a website store or no store.

10% of people have addictive personalities and I'm pretty sure in Jiu Jitsu it's much higher. People will buy anything jiu jitsu related.

Could even create belt checker belts. lol

***Edit***
Possible Store Items:
- Belt Checker Id Cards
- Belt Check Belts
- Belt Checker Business Cards with options to add Instagram, Facebook, E-mail, Website, Number etc.
- Belt Checker Rashguards
- Globetrotter Stuff etc

Networking, I guess. Don’t some people carry personal cards?

Could have Instagram, Facebook, E-mail, Website, Beltchecker etc info to give to whoever when you go and cross train or travel to reconnect with people later. An easy and quick way to exchange info. And a promotional tool for the website for anytime anyone uses it with a stranger.

The option is only for the colored belts under black belt, since stripes on black belt are considered separate ranks in the system. If you want a card with a plain black belt, let me know and I'll make sure we send you that :)
