There isn't an easy way to communicate with them aside from sending them individual messages or am I missing the point? Is there a chat to include everyone or selected people in a group chat /message or ??

I was wondering the same thing. I now have a number a friends and request on my profile but I'm not sure I understand the point. They're mostly people I do not know. They seem like people I would like to know. But so does nearly everyone on this site. I kind of feel like you're all my friends. (Most of ya anyway). Haha

For now it is just a list you can keep, it doesn’t really have any function. Will probably build some more functionality around this at a later point :)
