"Well documented profile, being promoted by one of the legends of the sport."

"Legit profile congrats on the stripe"

"Congratulations "

"Well documented profile and promotion history. Congratulations!"

"Looks good. Congratulations on the promotion. 👍"

"I support validating Shawn's belt claims based on external evidence. First, he is on the list <https://ibjjf.com/certified-black-belts>. Also, Smoothcomp confirms his 1st-degree black belt promotion on October 4, 2025, by Rigan Machado, with competitions as black belt since 2023. FloGrappling and IBJJF results verify his belt progression: blue in 2014-2016 (e.g., Pan 2016), purple in 2017-2018 (e.g., Pan 2018), brown in 2018-2021 (e.g., World Master 2021), black in 2023-2025 (e.g., World No-Gi 2025). Times served exceed IBJJF minimums. Derek Cleveland (3rd-degree black belt) and Rigan Machado (coral belt) are legitimate promoters."
