I was awarded my purple belt by Masakazu Imanari not long after competing in Tokyo in February, 2020. I told my coach at 10th Planet Jiu-jitsu Bergen over Facebook, where he told me that he had planned to give me my purple belt once I returned to Norway.

Received my blue belt after 2 years of training jiu-jitsu, with some judo before this. I moved between gyms and countries quite a lot during these two years, so my promotion came somewhat late as a result of that.
White belt

I had a single trial lesson at Morioka BJJ Academy when I was visiting northern Japan. I had practised judo 12x a week before this. I shortly after moved back to Norway and started training BJJ at Frontline Academy Bergen. I moved back to Japan for a while and trained at Imanari Jiu-jitsu and then swtiched gyms to 10th Planet Jiu-jitsu Bergen when I moved back to Norway. I'm currently training at 10p Bergen when I'm in Norway and mainly at Imanari jiu-jitsu when I'm in Japan.
