I am 53 years old and have been training BJJ since 1998. I currently teach at MADE Fitness and Training Center in Louisville KY. I still roll as hard as I can and plan on training as long as I can and become more passion about BJJ the more I train . I received thru purple belt under Pedro Sauer and brown and Black Belt under Helio Soneca who I am still with and train regularly with. I have had the honor to train and learn from many BJj legends over the years to include Luiz Palhares, Luiz Heredia, Fabio Santos, Renzo and Ralph Gracie. ALso Gordo and Socca. I competed at every belt level over the years except black . I have won some gold , silver and bronze in various tournament s and sometimes did not medal. My goal is to compete at black belt in 2021. I have been teaching since 2004 at purple belt because back then there were not as many black belt instructors to go around. i continue to teach but also enjoy being a student. I continue to enjoy hard training and learning. BJJ is a huge part of my life and hope to train for many more years!
