"Nathaniel Medina's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu progression complies with IBJJF minimums, with two years at white belt before his 2016 blue promotion by Gracie Barra instructor Wesley King in Albuquerque, nearly six years at blue prior to his 2022 purple by ONE BJJ black belt Tito Valdez in Rio Rancho, and over three years at purple leading to his 2025 brown belt by New Breed Jiu Jitsu black belt Rudy Fields. Competition records on Smoothcomp show him as blue in 2019 and purple from 2022 onward, including a 2023 IBJJF Dallas Open appearance as masters purple, with recent affiliations to ONE Jiu Jitsu Rio Rancho confirmed via academy social media posts and website bios. Legit brown as of my Jan-12-2026 review!"
