I train out of Fond du Lac, WI under Black Belt Ben Sheaffer, a Marcello Monteiro BJJ Coach Affiliate. I started with Judo at around 8-9 years old (1993) I do have a Black Belt in Judo as well. Started BJJ at about 22 years old when I got out of active duty Army. I have had some MMA fights over a decade ago. And used to compete regularly in Judo and BJJ for many years. I did unfortunately have a 5-6 year lay off due to a massive ankle injury, 5 surgeries and a total ankle replacement later. Still at it!
