"verified by promoting instructor"

"confirmed promotion congrats on the black"

"Promoted by Anders and me. Our student since he first started training BJJ and a very appreciated student and teacher in our academy. Now also our very first black belt."

"Promoted by Johan Nyh and me. "

"Joakim's belt progressions align with IBJJF guidelines, exceeding minimums: over 4 years white to blue, 3+ years blue to purple, 3+ years purple to brown, and 3+ years brown to black. As of my Jan-2026 reivew, Smoothcomp records show Joakim competing as purple in 2018 Nordic BJJ Open (post-March 2018 promotion), brown in 2025 Swedish Open (pre-May 2025), and earlier as blue/white consistent with the dates that he reports above. Instructors Anders Nyh (black 2nd degree) and Johan Nyh (black 3rd degree) held sufficient rank for promotions at the time, which I also verified."

"confirmed by instructor"

"I don't know Joakim, but there seems to be enough evidence to verify rank. :)"

"All documented & verified."

"Good photo history "

"Skilled training partner and instructor!"
