My name is Mark Peltier. I am originally from Keller, Texas but now reside in Houston. I started training with my professor and coach Roberto Kaelin (a Carlos Machado Black Belt) in 2007. I then left to go to school in Austin where I continued to train at several academies throughout the years - primarily Paragon - as well as was one of the founding members, coaches, and presidents of the UT BJJ club. I then moved to Houston where I continued my training. Work took me around the world for a couple of years where I trained, taught, and competed in multiple countries. Now I reside back in Houston. I have been training BJJ for almost 13 years now. I have competed in the Pans, Europeans, and Worlds - my last tournament being in 2014 at the IBJJF Worlds as a black belt. I now train BJJ every so often as I work full time and own a powerlifting focused strength gym and am an active national level powerlifting competitor and coach.
