My 3rd MMA Fight and wow it was fun. I stood toe to toe with this kid who graduated HS that same day. I lost via split decision but I didn't care. My family thought I won and the crowd was entertained

The Grand Prix Grappling Texas State BJJ & NO-Gi Championships took place on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 in Channelview, TX. I won Brown Belt Gi, No-Gi, and Absolute that day.

On June 8, 2013, I got my Brown Belt at Elite MMA Westheimer. Then I did the old school gauntlet with no-gi top. YouTube "Trent Draper Brown Belt Gauntlet"

2-12-17 Is a day I will never forget as long as I live. I was honored to receive my black Belt from my professor (Ed Ramos) after taking gold Houston Open as a brown belt. It was so surreal!!

This was Saturday 8-1-20. Great training at Revolution Dojo in Houston Tx. 8 Black Belts and 5 browns on the mats. tough room.

This was 7-30-18 when I was the head Black Belt instructor for the UFC Gym pearland. I started with 3 students and ended up with almost 70!

This was my first win at Submission Hunter Pro 23 on 3-10-2018. Mike Jackson captured the moment when I got the armbar and I want to get this framed for my office.

Nothing could prepare me for this feeling. I was trying so hard not to cry when they were taking the picture. To God be all the glory!

I really meant to post this way back on 2-16-23 when it happened but better late than never. I had the honor of receiving my 2nd degree on my black belt from the OG himself @o.g.jeffmessina. He made it special and gave me the floor to teach all of his students that night and it was amazing. I can now hand out black belts and I am super greatful to God that I am able to teach and compete in the sport that I love. This really is not a sport but a way of life to me. Thanks to everyone who has been there for my bjj journey I appreciate you... OSS 🤙
