Aside from successfully confusing people who freshly woke from a nap, I also design logos and have started to manufacture my own line of gear (rashguards so far) for my small group. I used to make a lot of gear for my former affiliation, from boxing gloves, MMA gloves, shin pads, shorts, rashguards, gi, t-shirts, belts, etc. Had fun doing those.

Lately had success vibe coding using AI, programming an online class booking and payment system, student progress tracker, syncing everything with calendars, spreadsheets, etc. building student curriculum based on my actual classes, class content trackers, etc.

Besides other Martial Arts I am involved in, SCUBA has been a great hobby as it is easy on my body and very relaxing. My wife also enjoys it so it is just another fun thing for us to share.

I have an important hobby besides BJJ: Judo. And yes, I'm not as one-sided as some people think - I paint, draw and illustrate the funny children's stories that I write in sequels. I also write stories and poems. Sure, you can laugh about that, but it's important to me.

In relation to your art hobbies: I think it's great to not only have the "martial" aspect, but also have the "art" aspect, like you have. In my opinion it is a great balance and somehow it reminds me on the old Samurais, who not only were warriors and trained fighting, but they invested time in caligraphy, acting, dancing, etc....

The older I get, almost 50 now, the more I crave for balance. BJJ is only one hobby 3 times a week. Another 2 sessions a week I enjoy learning social dancing with my wife: Cha Cha, Salsa, Rumba, Waltz, Jive, you name it…….
I love visiting rock concerts, especially concerts of my favorite band Opeth from Sweden, since I’ve seen them live the first time at Wacken Open air in 2001.
Also I love riding my motorcycle and my classic Vespa Scooter.

Recently got pretty big into gardening. Trying to foodscape our property with edible fruits and seasonal vegetables. It's quite rewarding but takes lots of patience. I'm still young but i'm starting to slow down and find hobbies that are less "high speed low drag."

I also make music when the mood takes, this time I made a synth.
