"Royal City BJJ’s "about us" page corroborates 2016 promotion as of 2024 "wayback machine" queries, but as of Jan-2026 needs an update to show 3rd degree. Smoothcomp confirms 1st degree in 2019. The site confirms his 2016 black belt under Robert Veltman, who was 3rd degree at the time, as Canada’s pioneering instructor under the Moroney Brothers with over a decade as black belt. Eric’s progression aligns with time-in-belt norms. Verified!"
EFThat's a very thorough job of vetting you did; thank you for that vote and thank you for reminding me that the website needs an update!
