I was first introduced to Kodokan Judo in 2005, and then furthered my study of Judo in 2008 at City College of San Francisco (CCSF) for a single semester. I returned to Judo for short times in 2012, 2015, and 2018. In March of 2011, I began studying Jeet Kune Do and continued until 2014 when I began training under Professor James Hundon who teaches Small Circle Ju Trap Boxing and Serrada Escrima. Professor Hundon has earned black belts in multiple arts, including Judo and Small Circle Jujitsu. He has a unique style of applying Professor Wally Jay's small circle locks and controls in self-defense situations. I trained under Professor Hundon continuously until I moved from San Francisco to Northern New Hampshire in 2020. I started my formal training in Brazilian Jiujitsu in 2018 in Alameda, California where I trained for roughly one year. Upon arriving in New Hampshire I found the nearest BJJ school and started training in December 2020, receiving my blue belt in 2022. I left that school near the end of 2022. In March 2025, I found Resiliency JiuJitsu Academy and Professor Adam LaClair. Professor LaClair promoted me to purple belt in November of 2025.
